Why this is hard

    One quote says $14,200 and another $11,900, but they don't describe the same job, so the cheaper one may not be cheaper.

  • What's missing is hard to spot

    Permits, disposal and allowances are often left out or buried in a line called "misc." You notice when the extra bill arrives.

  • Pasting PDFs into a chat gets messy

    You get a long answer instead of a table, and it's hard to check which quote each claim came from.

Which quotes work?

Written quotes or estimates for the same job, as PDFs, photos or pasted text: renovations, roofing, plumbing, electrical, landscaping and similar work. Comparing two quotes would cost 2 credits at launch.

Why not just ask ChatGPT?

You can, and for a quick question it may be enough. What we add is a fixed structure every time: the same table for every quote, each finding quoted from the document so you can check it, and gaps shown side by side. There's no prompt to write, and uploaded files are deleted within 24 hours unless you choose to save them. Whether that's worth 2 credits is what we're asking before we build it.

Will it tell me which contractor to choose?

No. It shows what each quote says and doesn't say, so you can decide and ask better questions.
